Our Mission is to make busy people healthier. You'll find no gimmicks here. Our belief is if you can't eat a certain way forever, it's not a good approach. Think about diets you have tried. Were you able to eat like that long-term? Probably not. And they probably didn’t work for you, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this page. At Lisa Corrado Nutrition, we propose lifestyle changes that promote sustainable health & well-being.
Our Approachis to combine clinical nutrition with culinary training. Clinical nutrition is the scientific part of the equation. In clinical nutrition, we look at how your body uses nutrients. When you eat, your body starts the process of nutrient utilization: digestion, absorption, transportation, metabolization, storage and elimination. We want each step in the process to work as well as possible so that you are as healthy as possible.
Culinary training is the fun part of the equation. It's as important as the clinical nutrition part, because it's the main way you get your nutrients. We talk about food: what to eat, how to shop for it, how to prepare it. We outline an eating plan specific to you that addresses your goals and medical concerns.
Our Benefits are universal. We work with all kinds of people with all kinds of needs. The majority of our clients need to:
Manage weight
Lower blood pressure
Lower cholesterol
Manage blood sugar and diabetes
Address GI issues
Increase energy
